As part of Widefield Water and Sanitation District’s commitment to providing service that is reliable and that meets strict environmental and quality standards, we will be installing a new water transmission line in the area. The new line will improve system capacity and is designed to meet the increasing service demands of our growing community.

Construction of a new 8-inch water line on Metropolitan St will start in November of 2022 and last approximately 120 days.  Construction on a new 24-inch water line on Goldfield Dr and Grand Valley will begin in March of 2023 and should last approximately 120 days.  Construction of a new 24-inch water line on Metropolitan St should start in mid-April 2023 and will last approximately 120 days.  Please be aware of rolling road closures.

We’ve partnered with Garver to provide engineering services and Pate Construction Company to perform construction of the new pipeline. Both companies have extensive records of successfully completing similar projects.
