Holiday Closures 

The District is scheduled for the following Holiday closures in 2026:

• New Year's Day - January 1st
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day - January 19th
• Memorial Day - May 25th
• Independence Day - July 4th
• Labor Day - September 7th
• Veteran's Day - November 11th
• Thanksgiving Day - November 26th
• Day after Thanksgiving - November 27th
• Christmas Eve - December 24th
• Christmas Day - December 25th
• New Year's Eve - December 31st

Snow Days

In the interest of employee safety, snow days may be declared by the District.  The District typically follows the recommendation of the local school district, Widefield District 3.  However, each snow / weather event is evaluated according to employee safety concerns.

Other Closures

The District occasionally closes for staff training.  On these occasions, the closure is posted on the doors of the Administration Building and on the Web Page.
